First time here, traveling in from Cleveland. It’ll be a “must stop” each time I’m in town. Omelette was awesome, so was the service.
Happen to stumble on this place on Labor Day because of sign. Packed but it ran like a well oiled machine. Raised French toast was wonderful. Everything we we had was great. Maddie was our server and even busy she was attentive. We didn’t have wait to be seated either. Wish lived closer or was one in Indiana. It a family owned place,
Greeted by everyone as you walk in. Michael was the nicest waiter. He made sure we had everything we needed. I had the cinnamon and raisin French toast and my husband had the meat and egg burrito. His was really stuffed full with gravy on the side. The food was really good, and I love eating on the porch section!
It’s the service for me! Not only is the best service you’ll get ANYWHERE, the food was fresh and exceptional! The waitress Karol was so freaking hospitable and on point! Which only heightened the already phenomenal service! Shout out to whoever was cooking the food! We ordered our food and it came back within 5 mins, piping hot and delicious! The patrons of the establishment added to the southern down home charm of the place. All around this was a great find!!!
Great breakfast. Biscuits and gravy was excellent, they even toasted my biscuits (try getting them toasted or a heavy grill, makes a difference). Eggs Benedict also excellent also. Bacon was exceptionally good. Nice smoke and thick. Hashbrowns were just right, nice crisp on them Service was excellent, friendly and spot on.
First visit, we headed here because they were open when most others weren't on Labor Day. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly and prompt service, fair pricing, and a decent amount of variety on the menu. Simply put, everything was enjoyable. We will visit again.
Great portions for the price and excellent staff that has been around for many years. Can be a little chilly in the winter, but it's a favorite stop for me and my family.
We go almost every morning since moving to portage. Nice seeing the same people in there. Last restaurant with a sense of community in the area. The Food is excellent and the specials are always interesting. portions are big.
